About triptiji.com

Welcome. I’m Tripti Gore Chandorkar—architect by training, technologist by profession, and storyteller at heart.

Triptiji is more than a blog. It’s a quiet corner of the internet where I gather what matters most: stories that span generations, reflections from the middle of life, and creative pursuits that make meaning out of memory.

This space was born from a desire to reconnect—with my own voice, with the stories passed down to me, and with the creative threads I set aside while navigating years in the corporate world. I’ve spent years building systems and solving problems for others. Now, I’m building something slower, softer, and more personal.

The name Triptiji is a small play on formality and affection—combining my first name with the Hindi honorific “ji.” It’s what someone might call me with a smile and a bit of respect. It also reminds me that I’m not just writing as a daughter or a friend or a professional—I’m writing as my whole self.

If you’re drawn to art, cultural storytelling, midlife reinvention, or the beautiful mess of becoming—I’m so glad you’re here.

My collaboration with Xiangliart

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been drawn to creativity—curious about the world through the lens of art, photography, and stories. In 2007, while working alongside my colleague and friend Fei Wu in the thick of corporate life, she offered me a window into something far more inspiring: the artwork of her mother, Xiang Li.

What began as admiration has now slowly transformed into joyful collaboration. Today, I have the privilege of contributing to Xiang Li’s blog, helping shape her story online, designing art-based products, and joining her at festivals, gallery events, and community celebrations.

There’s still so much I’m learning—and so much I want to share. Through this blog, I hope to spotlight the journeys of artists like Xiang Li and explore how we can uplift and support one another in creative spaces.

Photography is one of my hobbies. As a busy mom always on the go, I love the simplicity and convenience of using my iPhone to capture beautiful moments wherever life takes me. Whether it’s a fleeting sunrise, a charming street corner, or a candid portrait, photography helps me pause and appreciate the world around me.
